Two old demo tape of a pre-gnaw their tongues project. Never released back then. Found the tape the other day.

Recorded on a 4 track tape recorder, with pretty crappy and cheap gear. I remember i borrowed a bass and a mic. Everything is recorded through a Boss HM-1 pedal straight into the 4 track recorder. Plus i used a delay/pitchshifter boss pedal for vocals/effects. I first recorded drums in the rehearsal room with one (!) mic. Then i did overdubs at my parents house.
My parents had a cheap GEM keyboard (the first demo) and latter they got a decent electric piano with additional choir and string sounds which is used on the second demo. The first demo does not contain a single guitar, only bass (my 'Necromantia' obsession). The second one contains some acoustic guitar, but it's mainly only bass-guitar.

The first three songs are from "We the unclean shall flourish". The last four from "The Celestial Nightmare". I actually like the first one better as it's much darker (but sloppier). I think the atmosphere on the first one is better.

Was really into the satanic, vampyric and celestial (not mention the higher delights :) stuff back then. Very corny and primitive (see my teen corpse paint photo) but it brings back nice memories. A couple of decent segments and pretty weird avant garde at times. Very nineties :). It's free enjoy! ... more
